Beam connection

Radiant connection – Point to point

A microwave link is a radio link between two antennas that transmit data.
A microwave transmitter is mounted on a building or mast,
after which it connects to another building, mast, or telecom tower.

From this “central” location, a fixed fiber optic, xDSL, or copper connection can be used to connect to the internet.
Antennas must be aligned, and there must be nothing between them—this is called line of sight.

For a trouble-free connection, it is necessary that we carry out a site survey to determine whether there is visibility.

About the radio links of wifinederland.nl:

A beam connection  is a good backup for an internet connection?

A beam connection  is also called Ethernet over radio.

Line of Sight (LOS) is required, meaning that there is a line of sight to one of the radio nodes from the roof of the customer building.

A beam transmitter has a very high availability.

No “ environmental permit ” is required up to 5 metres on the roof .

For temporary connections, such as from cabin to cabin on a construction site, you can also contact us. We also manufacture prefabricated 5-meter masts (WifiNederland) that are ready to use.
